![]() Some people like it, others think it's not necessary. I haven't seen or used the Combi Shuttle in person, so someone else will have to chime in on that one.ĭifferent people will have different opinions on rebounding. The original 22lb Snugride is still sold as well. They released new identical looking models that rated from 32lbs and later to 35lbs, and during that release they changed the name from SafeSeat to Snugride 32/35. Then they came out with the Safeseat, which goes to 30lbs. There is the standard Snugride, which typically goes to 22lbs. The Snugride/Safeseat thing can be confusing because Graco sort of screwed up when it came to names. And like I said, if your 2010 model is similar inside to my 2006 model, then the Chaperone is not safe because it does not fit properly. Remember that all seats pass standards and no seat is safer than another provided you install and use it correctly. It's easy to install and is just as safe as the Chaperone or the Peg. If you don't like the Keyfit, then I agree that the Snugride 35 is probably something else to look at. I think it's a ridiculously overpriced seat that doesn't really have any perks to justify the pricetag. I dislike the Pegs for the same reasons the previous posters stated, mostly being it's a pain to install and very easy to get wrong. So if the 2010 models have similar seat size to the 2006 models then no, a Chaperone won't work for you because the base does not fit on the seat. ![]() The headrest cannot be adjusted width wise if I remember correctly, and it is already bothering her 3 month old. Plus I couldn't see over the seat when it was snapped into the base. It is freaking HUGE and when installed, the base hung off the backseat of my CR-V by about a third.way too much to be usable and safe. I liked the look and the feel of the Chaperone until my friend got one.
